I'm relaxing into your affections. my mind wanders into the past but that isn't you now. my heart beats into the future, but that isn't clear now. the present right now is all there is and your here, as much as i squirm your still here. you don't understand how unloved i lived and the fate of our hearts yet has to be told. i stand with no vision for myself and yes i do look to yours but only to read the signs and clues to see if your love story is true. i cannot take you in until you've let it go. so i stand watching and waiting.
